Service Description

If you are looking to make art friends, be inspired, and add inviting light to your paintings, this small group weekend workshop is for you! This class is not designed for beginner painters. You should have some experience with color mixing and paint application prior to this workshop. I'll be teaching in oils, but oil or acrylic paint is acceptable. We'll start off by looking at how impressionist painters like Monet, Sisley, and Morisot defined their "new" style of painting over 150 years ago, and why they would object to the ways we use the term "impressionist" now. We'll demystify the term "Broken Color", and you'll learn step by step how to do apply this gorgeous technique. Warning- You will need to resist the urge to blend! What to bring: Paint: ( I use M.
