It's so easy! Just pick your size and email me a picture of your pet in good lighting. You don't pay until it's completed and you approve.
Please note that all portraits will be painted in my unique impressionistic style. This enables all paintings to fit into my collection for sale- if you choose not to buy it yourself.

How to Commission a Pet Portrait
How do I start the custom painting process?

Contact me, below, or email me one or more photos. Include your size preference or your budget. Tell me a couple words that describe the personality of your furry friend.

I will get back to you with 2-3 possible composition options and other notes.

Once your decide on a cropping, turn around time varies from 1-2 weeks. (Oil Paint takes a few days to dry) I will send you photos of your finished work for your approval.

Once approved, I'll send you an invoice to pay online.

Your artwork is carefully packed in a box and shipped as soon as possible (after paint is dry and payment is received.) Or Free Pickup from Renton, Washington Studio!

Once your painting arrives, you will love it or send it back within 1 week for a refund minus shipping costs both directions (this has never happened, but I want you to know it's an option!)

***You will own the painting, but under copyright law only the artist retains the rights to the image of the painting. Don't worry, you CAN post a pic of the painting on social media-- preferable with a link to this page :)!

What does the base price include ? What about framing?
​
The base price includes a face/head painting of one animal on a cradled panel that is 3/4 inch deep with natural wood sides exposed. Your painting is ready to hang on a nail as is, or you can frame it yourself.

What about other sizes?
Larger paintings are required for additional pets or more than face/shoulders, but you will always get a firm quote ahead of time so you'll know exactly how much the total price will be.

"I wanted to commemorate my husband’s first glacier climb. Britt helped me select a photo from the climb. She helped me to realize the ‘what’ that I was trying to capture in a painting. I selected a challenging scene of mostly glacier snow and ice. Britt was able to show the texture of the snow as well as capture the action of the climbers as they move up the glacier.
